Unfortunately, there is no escape from the unhappy and merciless world that he lives in. The international festival's jury bestowed special recognition for directing to the British clip Play (2008). It's a narration about a group of twenty year old teenagers who find out personally what happens when they start taking a dare seriously. The next clip named Where the Mind is Without Fear (2009) not only won the Award for best documentary of ISFF '09 but also acquired third place in the Winton Train Film Contest. The sole Czech representative during "the Echoes" was the three minutes long animated clip Leave ideals (Opustíme vzory, 2008). It's a humorous "guide" on how to fight against a corrupted system, role models and authorities. The festival presentation was brought to a close with the winning Korean clip My Dear Childlike Little Cinderella (2009) which won the Grand Prix - the Award of Václav Krška.
